Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers for a Chicago-based fleet that averages about 1,900 miles per week and ensures you are home every weekend. Training is available with a brand new Class A truck for new drivers.

The role offers weekly pay ranging from $1,000 to $1,700, with a $1,000 weekly guaranteed for the first 3 months solo. Training lasts 4 to 6 weeks with $685 training pay and benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and be 21+ years old.
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Chicago-based fleet truck to haul freight across Illinois and neighboring Midwest states.
• Maintain safety standards and on-time delivery while keeping a clean driving record.
• Enjoy regular weekends home and benefits as part of the fleet program.

Job description

Drivers on this Chicago-based fleet average about 1,900 miles a week and still get home every weekend. If you're on the West Side or in the near suburbs with a brand new Class A, you can start with paid training.

Pay

• $1,000 a week guaranteed for your first 3 months solo

Training

• 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer
• $685 a week training pay
