Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers to safely operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks, delivering food and related products to customers across intrastate and interstate routes. The role emphasizes customer interaction, on-time delivery, and compliance with DOT regulations.

Compensation includes an average annual pay of $90,000 to $100,000, plus a sign-on bonus of $500 per week for the first 30 weeks, along with benefits starting Day 1 and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience preferred.
• Valid CDL-A required.
• Must be 21+ years of age and able to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and DOT inspections.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Deliver and unload food and related products to customers on schedule.
• Verify deliveries with customer signatures and handle payments as required.
• Complete necessary paperwork and logs for hours of service.
