Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, with duties on and off-site for hazardous waste cleanup. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork in a dynamic field environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, daily logs, and equipment placarding. Qualified candidates hold a valid CDL, with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements within 90 days, and must pass background

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Able to perform job-related physical tasks.
• Must pass background, drug test, and medical exam as required.
• Must meet respirator facial hair standards per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.34.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports.
• Follow all local, state and federal compliance regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per US DOT and company guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
