Job summary

WM is seeking a Waste Transport Driver to reliably move medical waste from WMHS or customer sites to transfer or processing locations. The role emphasizes safety, timely routing, and accurate paperwork.

Requires a CDL Class A, ability to read and communicate in English, and capability to perform pre/post-trip inspections. Schedule is Monday–Friday, starting at 6:00am, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience driving vehicles over 5 tons preferred.
• Able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• May require immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.
• Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or Class 1/A-Z.
• Able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner.

Responsibilities

• Transport medical waste from WMHS or customer locations to transfer or processing sites.
• Manage routes to ensure timely and accurate waste transport.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure paperwork is completed legibly and returned during debrief.
• Communicate changes to pickups to ensure service levels.
