Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler or other equipment to move freight.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers and co-workers ensuring questions are answered accurately.
• Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations; inspects equipment.
• Reports all safety issues and/or repairs required.
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Delivers and unloads customer orders according to route schedule.
• Completes required paperwork and logs hours of service per regulations.
• Keeps equipment and trailers secure and clean.
