Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an energetic CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products to customers. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with no overnights or weekends, and a training wage of $29.70 per hour. After training, drivers average $346 per day, with top earners exceeding $100,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent required.
• Internal PFG Candidates: 1 year of service in good standing and able to attain CDL Permit and DOT Health Card.
• External Entry Level Hire: 0-6 months experience with a CDL.
• Valid CDL-A required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers and coworkers professionally.
• Drives tractor trailer and delivers orders according to schedule.
• Performs pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT regulations.
• Completes daily hours-of-service logs and required paperwork.
• Ensures freight is secured and cargo is unloaded at customer sites.
