Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver for local routes in Wytheville, VA. The role starts with an early dispatch window (3am-6am) and features a competitive average annual pay of $80,000, plus benefits from Day 1 health coverage and a solid benefits package.

You will drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck, ensure on-time delivery, handle product loading/unloading, and maintain safety per DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and background check.
• Pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Drives and delivers customer orders on predetermined routes.
• Unloads products and ensures proper storage at customer locations.
• Completes required paperwork and logs as per regulations.
• Secures equipment and returns at end of shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
