Job summary

McLane is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers to move and deliver products for America’s favorite brands. The role offers industry-leading pay, day-one medical/dental/vision insurance, and a broad benefits package as part of a long-term career with a trusted national logistics leader.

You will inspect vehicles, manage bills of lading, log DOT-compliant records, and unload deliveries at customer sites. A valid CDL-A and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience are required, with a strong safety

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform tasks safely.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy for off-hour deliveries.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destinations, comply with DOT regulations and maneuver vehicle on roads and customer premises.
• Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts and temperatures.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
