Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move goods to customers across the United States. You will inspect vehicles, handle bills of lading, drive safely, and maintain logs per DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off hours.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and document temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
