Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products to customers across intrastate and interstate routes. The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and professional customer interactions, with routes including both long-haul and local segments.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Experience in foodservice distribution preferred.
• Onboard computer/e-log systems experience (PeopleNet).
• Hand-held delivery scanning systems experience (POD).
• Customer service experience desirable.

Mansioni

• Perform pre/post-trip safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Adhere to DOT rules and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect and secure freight; verify load against invoices; complete required paperwork.
• Operate tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate, interstate, and OTR routes.
• Maintain accurate records of hours of service and delivery activities.
• Provide professional customer service and represent the company positively.
