Job summary

Merlo Construction in Michigan is seeking a CDL A driver to operate a Cat Semi with a 4-axle dump trailer and a Tri-Axle dump with a tag trailer, moving equipment and materials between jobsites and our headquarters. This full-time role requires 5–6 workdays per week, reliable transportation, and a willingness to learn and share knowledge with the crew. Construction experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• CDL A license with air brakes required.
• Experience moving, loading, and securing heavy equipment preferred.
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work daily.

Responsibilities

• Move equipment and material between sites and headquarters.
• Operate Cat Semi with 4-axle dump trailer and Tri-Axle dump with tag trailer.
• Work 5–6 days a week.

The Company is looking to add a CDL A driver who can drive a Semi/Tri-Axle truck to move equipment and material between jobsites and our headquarters. Our team works year-round on local concrete, excavating, and utility projects. Our projects include commercial and industrial buildings and roads, including many high-profile jobs around southeastern Michigan.
