Merlo Construction is a high-growth concrete and excavation Company. Our team works year-round on local concrete, excavating, and utility projects in Southeast Michigan, including commercial and industrial builds and roads.

The CDL A driver role moves equipment between jobsites and our headquarters, with opportunities for advancement and a team-first culture focused on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• CDL A with air brakes required.
• Experience moving, loading and securing heavy equipment.
• Willingness to learn a trade and share knowledge with others.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work daily.
• Construction experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move equipment and material between jobsites and headquarters.
• Load, secure, and transport heavy equipment safely.
• Work 5-6 days a week and support project teams.

The Company is looking to add a CDL A driver who can drive a Semi/Tri-Axle truck to move equipment and material between jobsites and our headquarters. Our team works year-round on local concrete, excavating, and utility projects. Our projects include commercial and industrial buildings and roads, including many high-profile jobs around Southeast Michigan.

Responsibilities and Requirements for this role include, but are not limited to:

• CDL A - With air brakes
• Truck used: Cat Semi with 4 axle dump trailer
• Truck used: Tri-Axle dump with tag trailer
• Work 5-6 days a week
• Willingness to learn a trade and also share knowledge with others
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work every day
• Experience in construction is preferred, but not required
• Must have experience in moving, loading, and safely securing heavy equipment
