Performance Food Group in Missouri is seeking an entry level Driver Trainee to learn tractor trailer and straight truck routes, intrastate and interstate, delivering food products to customers. You will train on safety checks and DOT compliance while working with a trainer to perfect route execution.

The role requires a valid CDL A, 21+ years old, and a willingness to complete the required training program. Starting pay is around $83,000 annually with benefits and growth opportunities.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of service with PFG or equivalent is preferred.
• 0–6 months commercial driving experience required.

Mansioni

• Attend and complete the Entry Level Driver Trainee program.
• Ride with driver trainer and assist deliveries as required.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT regulations.
• Drive to deliver customer orders according to schedule.
• Unload and verify items, collect signatures, and handle payments if needed.
• Complete daily hours of service logs and keep area clean.
