Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Georgia is seeking a delivery driver with a Class A CDL to transport materials to customer sites. You will load, deliver, and unload orders, verify details, and maintain logs while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 21+ years old, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass a DOT medical card; forklift operations may be required. On-site role with safety-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license and a Class A CDL license.
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driving experience; 2 years CDL driving strongly preferred.
• Pass MVR report.
• Obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified sites; maneuver and position vehicle.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading and protect product and customer property.
• Verify orders and maintain logs (weights, miles, locations).
• Serve as customer service liaison and resolve issues.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and perform safety checks.
• Use handheld devices to ensure DVIR/HOS compliance.
• Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections.
• May handle credit/product returns paperwork.
• Operate forklift or load/unload materials as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
