Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Driver responsible for loading, transporting and delivering building materials to customer sites in Georgia. You will secure loads, verify orders, and provide professional service, while adhering to safety rules and DVIR/HOS requirements.

Non-CDL candidates may drive vehicles 10,001–26,000 lbs and will join a team focused on safety and growth. You will operate a forklift or other equipment as needed, maintain logs, and comply with MVR checks and medical card

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license.
• Pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product inside delivery vehicle.
• Deliver orders to customer sites and unload materials safely.
• Verify order details and maintain delivery logs.
• Act as a customer service liaison and address concerns.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks.
• Operate handheld devices for DVIR and HOS compliance.
• Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections.
• May perform credit/product return pickups and related paperwork.
• Operate forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
