Builders FirstSource is hiring a delivery driver to transport building materials to customer sites. You will operate vehicles over 26,000 pounds, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure on-time, undamaged deliveries while maintaining safety and customer service excellence.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, a valid Class B CDL, and the ability to pass MVR and obtain a DOT medical card within five days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and a Class B CDL.
• 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years of CDL driving experience preferred.
• Pass MVR and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Have fewer than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Basic math and measurement skills; ability to read and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Load or assist with loading and securing products inside the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver customer orders to specified sites; maneuver vehicles and assist with unloading.
• Verify order details and maintain logs of deliveries (mileage, weights, locations).
• Serve as a customer service liaison and address concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform safety checks on delivery vehicles; follow DVIR/HOS requirements.
• Operate forklift or other handling equipment to load/unload materials as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and suggest safety improvements.
