Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to operate a tractor trailer or straight truck. The role involves home daily routes with early dispatch hours and delivers food and related products to customers across intrastate and interstate regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A and clean MVR in past 3 years.
• Must be 21+ years old and meet state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor trailer or straight truck on local and OTR routes.
• Deliver items to customers on schedule and obtain signatures.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and report any issues to supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of hours and cargo paperwork.
• Unload and assist with loading as needed; ensure proper securing of freight.
