Job summary

Cheney Brothers is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver to support our food distribution network. This role offers a 6-day work week with home daily routes and an average annual pay of $90,000 after training.

You will handle dedicated routes and ensure on-time delivery of food products to customers with a strong emphasis on safety and customer relations. The position requires a CDL-A, 21+ years of age, and the ability to pass DOT checks, drug testing, and background screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience preferred.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes and OTR deliveries.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and ensure safety compliance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers to ensure timely delivery.
• Deliver and unload products, collect signatures and payments where applicable.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs and related paperwork.
