Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to support our food service distribution network. You will operate tractor-trailer and straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering to customers and ensuring on-time arrival and proper product handling.

The role requires a valid CDL-A, DOT health card, and a clean MVR. You will perform pre/post trip checks, complete logs, and maintain safety standards while interacting with customers and teammates daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years old and pass DOT health card.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years; post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and DOT inspections.
• Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Deliver and unload food and related products on schedule and in good condition.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Ensure vehicle and freight are secured and maintained.
