Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to join our team. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food products safely and on schedule to customers across our network.

Daily duties include safety checks, loading/unloading, documenting deliveries, and maintaining DOT compliance. We offer room for growth, competitive pay, and benefits starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain.
• Ability to lift and move weight as required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers and co-workers professionally and timely.
• Performs safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Delivers and unloads orders to customers on schedule.
• Verifies deliveries and obtains customer signatures.
• Maintains logs of hours and adheres to company policies.
