Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring a CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes. The role requires safe driving, customer interaction, and timely deliveries with DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post‑offer drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Possess a valid/current DOT Health Card or able to obtain one.
• Able to lift/move freight up to 60–90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspects tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Drives to and delivers customer orders according to route schedule; unloads products at customer sites.
• Verifies deliveries with customers and collects signatures; handles payments when required.
• Maintains logs of hours of service as required by DOT and company policy.
• Keeps tractor and loading dock area clean and secure equipment after shift.
