Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a dependable delivery driver to ensure timely, safe delivery of products to a variety of customer locations across the service area. You will be the face of the company, building relationships with customers while adhering to DOT safety standards and route schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• DOT health card/current or able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers to answer questions accurately and promptly.
• Drive to customer locations and deliver orders according to route schedule.
• Inspect truck, trailer, and loads per DOT and company safety standards; report safety issues.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures; handle cash or checks as required.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly for each shipment.
• Unload products and place them in designated customer storage areas; return trailers and equipment securely.
