Job summary

As a driver, you will inspect equipment, maintain accurate logs, deliver to client locations, and unload goods. You’ll work with a safety-focused team and be home regularly while serving America's favorite brands.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level for safety and operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to regulations and safe navigation.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt and exceptions.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
