Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to support our national distribution network and deliver to customer locations across our partner brands. You will inspect, drive, log hours, and unload deliveries with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

This full-time role requires a valid CDL-A, a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 miles of experience, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Company benefits start day one and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL‑A license.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write and understand English sufficiently to perform job tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy for off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver log per DOT regulations, documenting deliveries and temps.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
