Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to transport building materials to customer sites, load and secure goods, and ensure on-time delivery with safety. You will verify orders, maintain logs, and assist customers on-site with unloading.

The role requires a Class A CDL, 1 year of delivery experience, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Strong customer service and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and delivery docs.
• Proficient in basic math and measurement for loading and routing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery vehicle and transport materials to customer sites.
• Load, secure, and unload materials; operate forklift if needed.
• Verify orders, maintain delivery logs, and ensure accuracy.
• Provide professional customer service and resolve issues as needed.
• Perform safety checks, DVIR/HOS compliance, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
