Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a delivery driver to load, transport, and deliver building materials to customer sites. You will ensure on-time delivery, safety, and accurate paperwork while providing professional service.

A forklift capability is a plus, and a valid license plus DOT medical card are required. The role emphasizes customer liaison, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work in a production environment with occasional heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Load and securely secure products inside the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver customer orders to sites and unload materials safely.
• Verify order details and maintain logs of deliveries and weights.
• Serve as a customer service liaison and address concerns as they arise.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform safety checks on delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Use handheld devices to comply with DVIR and HOS requirements.
