Gordon Food Service is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver in San Antonio, TX. You’ll deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and more, with day shifts and local routes ensuring you’re home every day.

The role requires a Class A CDL, ability to unload up to 100 lbs, pass a drug test, and maintain a clean DOT-record. Competitive pay ($70k–$90k yearly) with weekly pay and benefits from day 1.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: 7380 I-10 Frontage Rd #4 San Antonio, Texas 78219

In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more.

Day shifts and local routes mean you'll be home every day.

• Required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift.

Schedule

Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM-6 AM until route finish.

Pay

• Drivers average $70,000 - $90,000/year.
• Guaranteed minimum of $1,250/week.
• Daily base pay, plus component pay.
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check.
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• Must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
• We will require any candidate who works for a Gordon Food Service customer to provide a letter of support from their management if they are selected for the interview process.
