Job summary

Gordon Food Service in San Antonio, TX is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join our local team. You will deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other customers, with guaranteed home time on local routes.

Shifts start early (3AM–6AM) and you’ll be paid daily base pay plus mileage, stops, and case delivery incentives. We offer comprehensive benefits, a 401K with match, and opportunities for growth within a stable, employee‑focused company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL License.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Must pass a drug test, background check and DOT requirements.
• Clean driving record per DOT and company standards.
• Must be registered through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers and build relationships.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs using ramp and two-wheeler.
• Home daily on local routes with start times 3AM–6AM.
• Paid for miles, stops, and cases delivered; weekly pay.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you'll be home every day. You'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you'll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule

Monday-Friday. Start time 3AM-6AM until route finish

Pay

Drivers average $70,000 - $90,000/year

• Guaranteed minimum of $1,250/week
• Daily base pay, plus component pay
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
