Job summary

McLane is hiring CDL-A Delivery Drivers for the CK St. Louis location. Earn $80,000–$90,000+ annually, with experienced drivers earning $100,000+ per year.

Pay structure includes hourly, miles, stops, and cases, with Day 1 benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and company-paid life insurance. As a CDL-A Delivery Driver you will safely deliver products to customers, inspect vehicles, maintain logs, and unload goods.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to customers and represent trusted brands.
• Inspect tractor-trailer and perform pre/post trip checks; submit DOT reports.
• Drive to destinations adhering to regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations and document deliveries.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

As a McLane CDL-A Delivery Driver, you’ll safely deliver products that keep America’s restaurants, retailers, and convenience stores stocked and running every day.

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
