McLane Company, Inc in Saint Peters, Missouri, is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move goods for national brands. You will inspect tractors, manage DOT logs, drive to destinations, unload at customer sites, and comply with safety standards.

Eligible drivers are 21+, hold a valid CDL-A, have at least 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer experience, and must meet McLane's MVR standards. The role offers day shifts, full-time hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of driving regulations.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and document delivery receipt.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
