McLane Company, Inc. is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers to move goods across the United States. Earn an annual salary in the $85,000–$95,000 range with bi-weekly pay and comprehensive benefits from day one, including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license and a safe driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to read/write English.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT reports.
• Verify bill of lading and keys for accuracy on delivery.
• Deliver to customer premises and unload cargo.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Follow safety policies and route instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
