Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Local CDL A Delivery Driver in Brandywine, MD. You will deliver food products to customers, unload up to 100 lbs, and enjoy home daily with local routes. The role offers day shifts, a 5-day work week, and a starting pay that includes weekly base pay plus incentive components.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.

• Registered through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent.

Responsibilities

Local CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: 7900 Cedarville Rd, Brandywine MD

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more.

Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule: 5 day work week between Monday - Saturday

Start time: Between the hours of 1:00am-4:00 am-until route is finished

Pay: Guaranteed minimum of $1200/ week Daily base pay, plus component pay Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020
