Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring CDL A Delivery Drivers for local routes around Hopwood/Uniontown PA. You will deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other customers. This role offers day shifts, home every day, and opportunities for newly licensed drivers.

Position requires unloading up to 100 lbs, using a ramp and two-wheeler, and maintaining a safe driving record. Competitive pay with guaranteed weekly earnings and benefits starts from day one.

Qualifications

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: Hopwood/Uniontown PA.

Overview

In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule

Start time 3 AM - 5 AM until work until the route is finished.

Pay

Drivers average $70K - $100 K /year. Guaranteed minimum of $1100 /week. Daily base pay, plus component pay. Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered.

Requirements

Does this look like you? At least 21 years of age. Class A CDL License at hire. Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions). Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards. You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
