Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Milton, WV is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver to support our foodservice customers with reliable, on-time delivery of products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and more.

You will unload cases up to 100 lbs, use a ramp and two-wheeler, and build lasting relationships with customers while maintaining safety and DOT compliance. We offer weekly pay, benefits from day one, and opportunities for growth within our team.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL at hire.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: Milton, West Virginia

Schedule: Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM - 5 AM until work until the route is finished.

Pay: Drivers average $70,000-100,000 K /year. Guaranteed minimum of $1100 /week. Daily base pay, plus component pay. Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more.

You'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you'll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
