Job summary

Schneider National is seeking drivers for Team Dedicated routes around the Phoenix area. You’ll haul sporting goods in dry van trailers with 100% no-touch freight and occasional drop-and-hook, performing slow-speed maneuvers and back-ups in a team setting.

Qualified drivers have a valid CDL-A and live within 75 miles of Phoenix, AZ. Schneider offers competitive pay (mileage plus hourly while on duty), a generous sign-on bonus paid over 12 months, orientation pay, time off, and a comprehensive

Responsibilities

• Haul sporting goods in dry van trailers to and from retail stores.
• 100% no-touch freight and 50% drop-and-hook.
• Perform slow-speed maneuvers and complex backs.
• 2-4 loads per week with 1-3 stop-offs per load.
• Drive within the Western 11 states.
• Team Pet Policy allows bringing dogs or cats on the road.

Overview

• Haul sporting goods in dry van trailers to and from retail stores.
• 100% no-touch freight and 50% drop-and-hook.
• Regularly perform slow-speed maneuvers and complex backs.
• 2-4 loads per week with 1-3 stop-offs per load.
• Drive within the Western 11 states.
• Take your dog or cat on the road with our Team Pet Policy.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first90 daysat Schneider.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Live within 75 miles of Phoenix, AZ.
