Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is seeking an experienced, full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver for our Elkridge, MD operation.

You will run a 53’ van trailer, starting at the Baltimore terminal, handling drops and pickups along a Grainger/Garage route with multiple stops, then returning to the Baltimore terminal. The role offers a flat rate per day, weekly pay, modern tractors, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor trailer experience.
• Must hold or obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and pickups per daily manifest.
• Maintain safety and security of tractor and freight; follow DOT regulations.
• Build relationships with customers and account managers through clear communication.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Job Overview

Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team in Elkridge, MD. This role operates a 53’ van trailer. The driver will start at the Baltimore terminal, take an empty mile down the street to Volvo, drop and hook there, and pickup a load to go to the Westampton terminal. The driver will drop in Westampton and pickup a Grainger delivery route with 4 deliveries: Folcroft, PA; New Castle, DE; Baltimore, MD; Baltimore, MD and return to the Baltimore terminal.

CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance

CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries to location(s) based on daily manifest as well as picking up potential returns, as needed
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all DOT regulations and guidelines
• Building relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
