A. Duie Pyle in Elkridge, MD is seeking an experienced, full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to operate a 53-foot van trailer. The role starts at the Baltimore terminal and includes drops, hooks, and a Grainger route through Folcroft, PA; New Castle, DE; and Baltimore, MD.

The position offers weekly pay, a flat daily rate, and benefits including medical and 401(k). Qualifications include valid CDL-A, at least one year of tractor-trailer experience, and ability to read, write, and speak English.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor‑trailer experience
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries to locations based on daily manifest and pick up potential returns, as needed
• Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhere to all DOT regulations and guidelines
• Build relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full‑time Dedicated CDL‑A Truck Driver to join our team in Elkridge, MD. The role operates a 53‑foot van trailer. The driver will start at the Baltimore terminal, take an empty mile to Volvo, drop and hook, and then pickup a load to the Westampton terminal. At Westampton the driver will join a Grainger delivery route covering four deliveries in Folcroft, PA; New Castle, DE; and Baltimore, MD, before returning to the Baltimore terminal.
