Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver for Williamsport, MD. You will operate a day cab tractor pulling a dry van with knocked down boxes to end customers from the plant.

Starting at $28.52/hr with increases to $29.94/hr after 6 months, and a 3-5AM start from Monday through Friday. Weekly pay via direct deposit, paid vacation, PTO, holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package. We want people who value service, integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Must hold or obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• No more than three moving violations/accidents in last 3 years.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, write, speak).
• Must obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries to locations based on daily manifest and pick up returns as needed.
• Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight; comply with DOT regulations.
• Build relationships through communication with customers and account managers.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance

CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completing deliveries to location(s) based on daily manifest as well as picking up potential returns, as needed
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all DOT regulations and guidelines
