Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team in Elkton, MD. Flex drivers cover for dedicated accounts where needed across multiple locations.

Compensation & Benefits

• Earn $355 flat rate for local runs; $380 flat rate per day for runs that require sleep outs
• Mix of touch and no touch freight

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Hazmat endorsement required to start
• Tanker endorsement required to start or willingness to obtain within 90 days (varies by account)
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience
• Current non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, write, speak)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries to location(s) based on daily manifest and pick up potential returns as needed
• Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhere to all DOT regulations and guidelines
• Build relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
