Job summary

Estes Express Lines in Minnesota is seeking a professional CDL A tractor-trailer driver. You will operate equipment, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and unload freight when needed, and ensure safe, compliant transportation of cargo under FMCSA rules.

The role requires passing a medical exam and road test, maintaining logs, meeting English reading/writing standards, and lifting about 70 lbs. Flexibility for local, regional, and occasional over‑the‑road assignments is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age required per FMCSA regulations with 1 year driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and be FMCSA Clearinghouse compliant.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required; LCIV may apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer in a safe, compliant manner under FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain records in accordance with local, state and federal laws.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Load/unload freight and assist at dock as required by business needs.
• Follow safety policies and drive in diverse routes and terrains.
