Job summary

Ascension is seeking a skilled analyst-leader to design and deploy automated, self-service dashboards across multiple audiences. You will build and mentor a team, collaborating with Physician Advisors and CDI Directors to demonstrate how documentation gaps affect quality measures.

Lead data integration from EHRs (Epic/Cerner), coding software, and billing databases to support CDI analytics and KPI tracking. Strong CDI knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• CDI experience required.
• Experience with EHR data integration principles (Epic or Cerner preferred).
• Leadership or mentoring experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy automated self-service dashboards for diverse audiences (C-Suite to CDI specialists).
• Hire, train, and mentor a team of analysts in SQL, data visualization, and CDI knowledge.
• Collaborate with Physician Advisors and CDI Directors to present findings and illustrate impact on documentation quality.
• Oversee extraction and integration of data from EHR systems, coding software, and billing databases into a CDI analytics warehouse.
• Monitor and analyze CDI KPIs (CMI, CC/MCC, SOI/ROM) to drive improvements.
