Job summary

Guidehouse in Washington, DC is seeking a Clinical Documentation Integrity Supervisor to lead the CDI team. You will oversee daily reviews, staff allocation, and ensure high-quality documentation while aligning with contracts and best practices.

The role requires a university degree and at least 5 years of acute care CDI experience, with credentials such as RHIA/RHIT/RN/MD. Expect collaboration with facility leadership and ongoing CDI improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must hold at least one credential: RHIA, RHIT, RN, MD, or MD-equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of acute care hospital CDI experience.
• Familiarity with encoder use and DRG assignment including MS-DRG and APR-DRG.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CDI assignments and team workload distribution.
• Monitor productivity, utilization, and quality metrics.
• Lead CDI initiatives with stakeholders and leadership.
• Provide education for physicians and CDI staff.
• Interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of CDI specialists.

Skills

CDI experience 5+ years

RHIA/RHIT/RN/MD credentials
