Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree required.
• CCS exam considered in lieu to degree.
• Careful attention to detail.

• Understanding of CDI, coding and billing.
• Self-starter with time-sensitive mindset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Understanding of Paragon/3M software.
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy laws.
• Understanding of medical records processes.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily activities of the CDIP department.
• Ensure smooth workflow of assignments among CDI staff.
• Assist Director of CDI, Manager of CDI and Supervisor of CDI.
• Apply ICD-10, CPT and PCS coding to tasks and levels.
