Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree required.
• CCS Exam certification can be taken in consideration as well in lieu to the above.
• Careful attention to detail

• Understanding of CDI, Coding and billing
• Self-starter and self-motivated attitude
• Ability to work in time sensitive situations
• Understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook

• Understanding of HIPAA privacy laws
• Understanding of the process of Medical Records

Aufgaben

• Organize the daily activities of the CDIP department.
• Ensure smooth workflow of assignments from all relevant parties.
• Assist the Director of CDI, Manager of CDI and Supervisor of CDI.
• Apply ICD-10, CPT and PCS knowledge to assign tasks correctly.
• Provide customer service to DHR customers.
• Support compliance and record-keeping processes.
