Job summary

RFK Community Alliance is seeking a part-time Teacher’s Assistant for our Child Development Center in Lancaster, MA. The role supports the Lead Teacher to provide daily care, education, and recreation for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

The ideal candidate will help foster imagination, language and social development, and contribute to classroom operations. The position offers part-time hours, with a schedule 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, 22.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must be 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist and actively support the teachers in the program.
• Supervise the daily routines of children in the classroom and during activities.

Pay Range: $16.00–$17.75/hour

RFK Community Alliance has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Teacher’s Assistant to join our Child Development Center team in Lancaster, MA.

Who We Seek

We are seeking a part-time Teacher’s Assistant to work in our Child Development Center, providing an enriched and engaging environment for young children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old.

We are looking for someone who will encourage children’s imagination, challenge their thinking skills, and enhance their social and language development. The Teacher’s Assistant will work alongside the Lead Teacher to provide daily care, education, and recreation for children, as well as support the daily operations of the classroom.
