Job summary

RFK Community Alliance has an exciting opportunity for a Per-Diem (CDC) Teacher's Aide position to join our Child Development Center team in Lancaster, Massachusetts. The role supports the classroom teacher by providing instruction and guidance to children to enhance their academic, social, and emotional development.

You will assist in creating a developmentally appropriate curriculum in line with CDC guidelines and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• EEC Teacher certified preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum with guidance from the classroom teacher.
• Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Provide instruction and guidance to learners in alignment with NAEYC guidelines.

Who We Seek:

We seek a dynamic per-diem Teacher Aide to work as a professional partner with the classroom teacher to provide instruction and guidance to students to assist their academic, social, and emotional development. You will assist in creating a developmentally appropriate curriculum according to guidelines established by the Child Development Center and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). You will incorporate strategic plans, policies, and values (TEACH Principles).
