Job summary

State of Missouri seeks a detail-oriented Professional in the Community Solutions Division to train staff and subrecipients on CDBG policies and HUD regulations. You will develop training programs, track compliance, and provide guidance to internal staff and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Department leadership, managing communications, and coordinating training events while ensuring adherence to federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Understanding or willingness to learn in detail about applicable Federal and State regulations and policies.
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders during concurrent processes.
• Capacity for analyzing and interpreting data for use in planning and decision-making.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365 including Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma concepts strongly preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Develop training programs for staff and subrecipients in line with HUD regulations and program practices.
• Create and maintain tracking for required and optional trainings by role or function.
• Coordinate and present trainings and engagements on topics related to programs, plans, and compliance.
• Manage data and files, create office forms, and improve document processes.
• Provide administrative support to the CDBG program and teams (communications, mail, front desk coverage).
• Support the Civil, Financial, Compliance, and Planning teams as needed in content revisions.
