Job summary

The City of Grants Pass seeks a part-time CDBG Coordinator to administer the community development block grants program, update policies, and ensure HUD compliance. You will coordinate processes, document submissions, and monitor expenditures while engaging with boards and City Council.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the duties.
  • Experience with CDBG, HOME, or other HUD programs is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license, Oregon Class C with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the City's CDBG program and ensure compliance with HUD guidelines.
  • Update policies and program procedures as required.
  • Submit documents meeting HUD requirements and coordinate processes.
  • Coordinate public participation processes and evaluate proposals.
  • Monitor expenditures and prepare reports.
  • Provide independent decision making and present to review boards and City Council.
