This in-office position (up to 29 hours per week) requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or Urban Planning, or equivalent experience, with strong presentation and coordination skills. A valid Oregon driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with CDBG, HOME, or HUD programs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer the City’s CDBG program and ensure HUD guideline compliance.
• Update policies and program procedures.
• Submit documents meeting HUD requirements.
• Coordinate processes and public participation activities.
• Evaluate proposals and monitor expenditures.
• Prepare regular program reports and ensure program integrity.
• Make presentations to review boards and City Council.
