Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services, Early Childhood Administration, Education, or a closely related field required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in early childhood education, coaching, mentoring, adult education, technical assistance, or professional development.
• Experience with CDA Credential process preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized practice-based coaching, mentoring, and professional guidance to scholars participating in the ECIC's CDA initiatives.
• Support scholars through the CDA credentialing process including 120 clock hours via Early Education Pathways (EEP) and portfolio preparation.
• Coach scholars through CDA portfolio requirements, e-Portfolio system, exam prep, and verification visits.
• Facilitate portfolio development cohorts and conduct on-site/virtual coaching sessions.
• Document coaching activities and participant progress in ECIC tracking systems with accuracy and timeliness.
